拉丁娜閣 Bellezas Latinas: Miss Universe 2010 (Part 16): Preliminary Competition

Miss Universe 2010 Preliminary Competition was held in Mandalay Bay Events Center on 19 August 2010. 83 contestants were competing in the Swimsuit and Evening Gown competitions. The preliminary judges will choose 9 girls from the prelim competition, the remaining 6 will be chosen by Miss Universe Organization.

Here are my favourites and reviews of the latin/hispanic contestants in Miss Universe 2010:

#1. Miss Colombia

Facial Beauty + Poise: 9.050 / Average = 9.433

Comment: Natalia's gown was the best among the latinas! She's regal like a princess. Her swimsuit performance was also hot and spicy! I personally think she's the best performer among the latinas in the preliminary.

#2. Miss Peru

Swimsuit + Catwalk Skills: 9.390
Facial Beauty + Poise: 9.200 / Average = 9.425

Comment: I love her evening gown, so unique and stylish! Her swimsuit performance was good either, typical hot latina on stage!

#3. Miss Mexico

Facial Beauty + Poise: 9.500 / Average = 9.382

Comment: I'm sure she can make it to the top 15!

#4. Miss Brazil

Comment: Her EG performance was too 2008' Dayana's style, her gown looks bulky on her; however, her swimsuit performance was the best among the latinas; she could rock the stage!

#5. Miss Dominican Republic

Comment: No matter how people dislike her, if we watch her prelim performance, we cannot give her low scores. She's the pageant queen type!

#6. Miss Paraguay

Comment: Her performance in swimsuit was excellent, I'm pretty sure she will get high scores in this category, and her blue gown with roses is quite special, she may pull surprise in the final

Facial Beauty + Poise: 9.820 / Average = 9.184

Comment: I'm worried when i see her gown, I hope this will not ruin her chance to make top 15 cos' Stephany is a stunner!

#8. Miss Venezuela

Comment: Marelisa is not as good as her predecessors, bad hairdo; she looks too pale in swimsuit though she can walk the walk, her gown is nice, this gown is the same as the one she wore in Miss Venezuela final, but the color is different

Comment: I don't like her hairstyle in the prelim, She looks better with her long straight hair
