The Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2013 was held in Asunción on 27 June 2013. 19 young beautiful ladies were competing for 4 big titles this year, Miss Universo Paraguay, Miss Mundo Paraguay, Miss International Paraguay and Miss Earth Paraguay.
The winner of Miss Universo Paraguay 2013 is:
María Guadalupe González Talavera, 21, 178cm, from Lambaré. She will represent her country at Miss Universe 2013 in Russia.

Guadalupe González also represented her country at Miss Atlántico International 2012 and Miss Latinoamérica 2012.
Miss Paraguay 2012 was held in Asuncion on 18 May 2012. 7 former paraguayan queens were selected to compete again in this year's pageant. As a result, Egni Eckert, former Miss Mundo Paraguay 2010, 24, 184cm, won the major title of Miss Universo Paraguay 2012.
Egni participated in Miss World 2010 and made the cuts in all fast track competitions. She placed #9 overall. She also won the 1st runner-up in the Reina Hispanoamericana 2010.
Miss Mundo Paraguay 2012 is Fiorella Migliore, 21, 173cm. She was former Miss Italia Nel Mondo 2008.
Miss International Paraguay 2012 is Nicole HUber, 21, 177cm, from Asunción.
Nicole was semi-finalists in both Miss World 2011 and Miss Earth 2011.
Miss Paraguay 2011 Pageant was held at Telefuro Studio on 23 June 2011. 17 beautiful ladies were vying for the title this year. Three winners were crowned to represent the country in three most important pageants: Miss Universe 2011, Miss World 2011 and Miss International 2011.

Miss Paraguay Universo 2011 is Alba Lucía Riquelme Valenzuela, 20, 179cm, Hometown: Asunción, she will go to Miss Universe 2011 in Brazil
Paraguay chose the best girl this year, Alba is tall, modelesque and she has the aura of Lourdes Arevalos
Alba also represented her country at the Miss Beauty of the World 2010 Pageant held in China, where she was a top 10 semifinalist.
Miss Paraguay World 2011 is Nicole Elizabeth Huber Vera, 20, Hometown: Asunción
Miss Paraguay International 2011 is Stephanía Sofía Vázquez Stegman, 18, Hometown: Asunción

I like watching beauty pageants since I was 4, love watching Miss Universe, Miss World, Reina Sudamericana and all national pagaents in Central and South America.
In May 2005, I travelled to Thailand to watch the Miss Universe pageant. It was so exciting to watch the live show. I was so happy to meet my favourite contestants from Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Dominican Rep and Puerto Rico.
Latin powerhouses always send outstanding gorgeous candidates to the international pageants. When I was a child, I was infatuated with all those huge spectacular carnival latin costumes.
Many countries in Latin America pay respect to the beauty queens and they regard Beauty pageants as their National Pride.
