The winner of Nuestra Belleza México 2012 was Señorita Nuevo León, Cynthia Lizetthe Duque Garza, 19, 1.76m, from Monterrey. She also won Miss Congeniality and will represent her country in Miss Universe 2013.
Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 2012 - Señorita Veracruz: Marilyn Chagoya, 18, 181m, Hometown: Poza Rica. She also won the Best National Costume.
This year there was a new change, for the first time a contestant was be elected by a virtual casting and after eleven years, returned the semifinal competition entitled "Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico" where will be announced the winner of the Nuestra Belleza Mundo México title. The winner didn't participate in the final competition.
