Miss World 2011

Miss World 2011, the 60th edition of the Miss World pageant took place at the Earls Court Two on 6 November 2011 in London. A total of 113 delegates were vying for the prestigious Miss World 2011 title.

Miss World 2011:
Miss Venezuela, Ivian Sarcos, 22, 180cm

Ivian Lunasol Sarcos Colmenares (born July 26, 1989, in Guanare, Portuguesa, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan Diplomacy student. Being an orphan at the age of 8 as her parents passed away, Sarcos was raised by the nuns in a convent in Cojedes. She intended to become a nun, but she eventually gave up the idea and realized that her appearance would give her a chance to become famed and she started her career as a model.

Sarcos won the Miss Venezuela World 2010 title in the national pageant last year and she became the second Miss Amazonas to win a major Miss Venezuela title since Dayana Mendoza in 2007. She also won the 6th Miss World title for Venezuela.
