Miss Peru 2010 was held in Lima on 22 May 2010. 22 contestants were entering the final this year. The winner will go to the Miss Universe Pageant and Miss Continente Americano, the 1st runner up will go to the Miss World Pageant and Miss Hispanoamericana, and the 2nd runner up will go to the Miss Tourism Queen International Pageant and Miss Atlantico.

Giuliana Zevallos previously held the title of Miss Peru Earth 2008 and represented Peru in Miss Earth 2008 where she didn't place.

Miss Peru Organization invited Miss World 2004 (Miss Peru Mundo 04), Maju Mantilla, to share her experience with the contestants.

Also, when i looked at the pics and watched the preparation videos of Monica Chacon, i could not recognize her, she changed a lot..ha
