- I like watching beauty pageants since I was 4, love watching Miss Universe, Miss World, Reina Sudamericana and all national pagaents in Central and South America. In May 2005, I travelled to Thailand to watch the Miss Universe pageant. It was so exciting to watch the live show. I was so happy to meet my favourite contestants from Venezuela, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Dominican Rep and Puerto Rico. Latin powerhouses always send outstanding gorgeous candidates to the international pageants. When I was a child, I was infatuated with all those huge spectacular carnival latin costumes. Many countries in Latin America pay respect to the beauty queens and they regard Beauty pageants as their National Pride.
